Kinetic Light

Software development - from a single winch to room filling kinetic choreographies
From 2010 to early 2013, I worked as a freelance Lead Software Developer at WHITEvoid in Berlin, where I was responsible for designing and programming a custom control system for a newly developed kinetic winch system.
The goal was to use it in multimedia exhibitions and live shows. Therefor I had to create a reliable, modular real-time software capable of precisely controlling synchronized motion and lighting effects. The system offered extensive configuration options, allowing users to save and edit presets, program complex sequences, and adapt quickly to different show setups.
The result was a powerful and flexible software product made with the node-based programming language VVVV, purpose-built for professional use in large-scale, high-impact kinetic show environments.
